Fred, the Pastry Chef at the Ritz PB, special made our surprise wedding cake at the last minute.

bottom layer my fav-red velvet
tom layer his fav-vanilla

we had them bring us our dessert and cake from our dinner via room service. loves it.

kept the traditional.

so you could call it. we opted to try the private cabana dining right outside our room. didn't go as well as we thought. way too expensive/overpriced for what it was. we were promised the very best and that it would BLOW our minds. it was great and all...but what was even better were our private day cabanas comp'd for the next two days since they kind of got the hint we weren't feeling the dinner.

our customized menu

first toast.

wasn't sure what to add.

then it came to me.

the setting. right overlooking the beach. tiki tourches.

note: after 20 mins wayne requests to have us moved because it's too hot outside. diva in disguise. jk

this is the ice heart sculpture they had for us waiting inside, to a private room, when we moved. note the yummy martinelli's sparkling apple cider. was a really good bring back.

horseradish crusted fillet mignon. cooked to a T, perfectly.

everyone knows we started the simple, perfect, intimate, private beach wedding trend. look Megan Fox and Calista Flockheart copied us nearly days after. lol

reason #1000000010 why I loved the way we did it:

I changed right into my bathing suit after the ceromony.

what can i say? we start things without even trying to be followed/copied.
